Statement earrings for licorice-lovers! Life-size drop earrings in a variety of colours. Polymer clay and .925 sterling silver.
Earrings are approx. 16 mm cubes with a 50 mm drop.

Each earring is individually made, hand-cut and carefully sanded and polished. Any imperfections and variations only add to their uniqueness. The earrings come boxed - perfect for that unique gift that is tempting to eat (don't!) and fun to wear.

LKRiTZ is a small design studio in regional Victoria, Australia with a focus on things licorice. The love of licorice stems from my childhood, where I was first introduced to "Lakritz" (the German word for licorice) by my German mother - she only knew the salted variety - tiny diamond-shaped salted licorice pieces (salmiak pastillen) - and showed me how to make small 'tattoos' with these little diamonds by making patterns on the back of my hand and then licking them until the 'tattoo' disappears. My Scottish father and I shared a fondness for liquorice sticks and straps (I used to love to separate the strands to make the treat go further) and I now especially love the chocolate-covered variety.

Licorice allsorts, though, are my all-time favourite - I love the colours, the flavours and simply the fun of their shape. They always make me smile.
